Crispy Air Fried Butter Beans

- 430g / 16oz canned or jarred butter beans

- 2 tsp sriracha seasoning or a spicy seasoning mix of your choice
- 1 tsp salt if your seasoning mix doesn't contain salt
Drain the butter beans and spread them on two layers of paper towels, allow them to air dry for 30 minutes to 1 hour. They need to be very dry before you cook them.
Preheat the air fryer to 200C/400F. While the air fryer is preheating make sure the butter beans are completely dry, if not use paper towels to dry them. Add the butter beans to a large bowl and spray them with an oil spray and sprinkle with the seasoning of your choice and salt, shake and repeat until every bean is evenly coated in the seasoning.
Add to the air fryer and air fry for 13-15 minutes opening and shaking the basket a couple of times during the cooking process. The butter beans are done when they are crispy and most of them have burst like popcorn.
