Preheat your oven to 350F/180C. Line your muffin pan with paper liners.
Peel and dice the pears
In a large bowl mix flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
Add eggs, milk, oil and vanilla and beat with an electric mixer on medium speed for 2 minutes.
Stir in pears by hand.
Pour in ¼ c. of batter per muffin cup and insert one rolo in the center of each cupcake.
Bake at 350F/180C for 17 minutes.
