Mango Mojito

This mango mojito recipe is a tropical spin on the trafitional rum based drink with lime juice and mint.

- 4 tablespoon mango purée I used ready sweetened puree from a jar but you can make your own in a blender
- 1 lime juice of
- 8 fresh mint leaves
- 4 ounces This is an affiliate link.light rum
- tonic water
- ice cubes
For the mango purée: add the mango chunks of 1 mango in a blender and purée or use pre-made mango purée.
In a shaker, combine lime juice, sugar and mint and muddle the mint until it tears and releases the scent. (Sugar helps that process.)
Strain mango puree into the shaker.
Add ice and rum. Cover and shake vigorously. Strain into a chilled glass and top with tonic water.
Garnish with lime slices and mint.
Note: Skip rum for an alcohol free version.
