This mango mojito recipe is a tropical spin on the trafitional rum based drink with lime juice and mint.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 tablespoon mango purée I used ready sweetened puree from a jar but you can make your own in a blender
  • 1 lime juice of
  • 8 fresh mint leaves
  • 4 ounces This is an affiliate link.light rum
  • tonic water
  • ice cubes

Instructions
 

  • For the mango purée: add the mango chunks of 1 mango in a blender and purée or use pre-made mango purée.
  • In a shaker, combine lime juice, sugar and mint and muddle the mint until it tears and releases the scent. (Sugar helps that process.)
  • Strain mango puree into the shaker. 
  • Add ice and rum. Cover and shake vigorously. Strain into a chilled glass and top with tonic water.
  • Garnish with lime slices and mint.
  • Note: Skip rum for an alcohol free version.
