Healthier Pumpkin Spice Syrup

Pumpkin spice syrup is the taste of autumn in a bottle!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ¼ cup /300ml water
  • cup /135g granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp pumpkin puree canned or homemade
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp ground ginger
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg
  • ¼ tsp ground cloves

Instructions
 

  • In a small saucepan mix all ingredients with a whisk. Bring to a simmer over low heat, it should take 5-7 minutes.
  • Take off the heat strain and bottle the syrup. Cool and refrigerate.

Notes

Add 1-2 tsp of the Pumpkin Spice Syrup in your cafe latte, depending on your preferred level of sweetness. The recipe makes 1 ¼ cup/300ml.
