Into a large bowl grate dark chocolate finely, use a microplane grater if you have one for best results.
Add all other ingredients and mix until well combined. Pour the contents into an airtight container.
To prepare the hot chocolate, mix 2 tablespoons of the mix with 1 cup/250ml of milk per person and bring to a slow simmer, let it simmer for a few minutes until you have a thick mixture.
Enjoy with a bit of whipped cream or marshmallows.
